I am proud to be a native Texan, who has been privileged to call this great state my home! Originally from South Texas, I moved to San Antonio to attend UTSA. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, I married my college sweetheart. She wanted to move to Central Texas, so here we are!

My wife and I have 2 boys, and plenty pets (whom the kids refer to as “other family members”!). We love our country life, where we have been blessed with wonderful neighbors, beautiful scenery, and nice place in the world for our children to grow up.

My wife and I manage a commercial vehicle and equipment sales and service business. Our business is located in Guadalupe County, in the Crystal Clear Special Utility District (CCSUD) service area. As such, I have first hand experience of the outrageously high water bills we have. I have first hand experience of how unpleasant it is to deal with CCSUD. I have first hand experience of all the “fees” they conjure up just to squeeze more money out of their (hostage) service area. Dealing with CCSUD has been exceptionally unpleasant… to put it politely.

¡Estoy orgulloso de ser un nativo de Texas que ha tenido el privilegio de llamar a este gran estado mi hogar! Originario del sur de Texas, me mudé a San Antonio para asistir a la Universidad de Texas, San Antonio (UTSA). Después de graduarme con una Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas, me casé con mi novia de la universidad. Ella quería mudarse al centro de Texas, ¡así que aquí estamos!

Mi esposa y yo tenemos 2 hijos y muchas mascotas (¡a quienes los niños llaman “otros miembros de la familia”!). Amamos nuestra vida en el campo, donde hemos sido bendecidos con vecinos maravillosos, hermosos paisajes y un lugar agradable en el mundo para que nuestros hijos crezcan.

Mi esposa y yo administramos un negocio de venta y servicio de vehículos y equipo/maquinaria comercial. Nuestro negocio está ubicado en el condado de Guadalupe, en el área de servicio de Crystal Clear Special Utility District (CCSUD). Como tal, tengo experiencia de primera mano sobre las facturas de agua escandalosamente altas que tenemos. Tengo experiencia de primera mano de lo desagradable que es tratar con CCSUD. Tengo experiencia de primera mano de todos los “honorarios” que invocan sólo para sacar más dinero de los clientes (unos dirian “de los rehenes) del área de servicio. Tratar con el CCSUD ha sido excepcionalmente desagradable… para decirlo cortésmente.

I believe government offices should be there to gladly serve the people, in a pleasant, efficient, and cost- effective manner. It was not my wish to be on ANY government board, but when bureaucracy gets out of hand, its time for the citizens to step in and change the organization. To remind them they are there to serve the people… not the other way around!

So, I am respectfully asking for your vote. My goals as a Crystal Clear Special Utility District (CCSUD) board member are:

1. Stop the outrageous, frequent, water price increases!
2. Stop the outrageous increases in “impact fees”, and “etc.” fees!
3. Lower the monthly minimum charge on the water bill.
4. Improve customer service. CCSUD works for the people, not the other way around!
5. Encourage more citizens' input into CCSUD decisions.

Creo que las oficinas gubernamentales deberían estar ahí para servir a la gente con gusto, de manera agradable, eficiente y costo-efectiva. No era mi deseo estar en NINGUNA junta gubernamental, pero cuando la burocracia se sale de control, es hora de que los ciudadanos intervengan y cambien la organización. Para recordarles que están ahí para servir a la gente… ¡no al revés!

Así que respetuosamente les pido su voto. Mis objetivos como miembro de la junta directiva del Crystal Clear Special Utility District (CCSUD) son:

1. ¡Detengamos los escandalosos y frecuentes aumentos del precio del agua!
2. Detener los escandalosos aumentos de las “tarifas de impacto” y “etc.”
3. Bajar el cargo mínimo mensual en la factura del agua.
4. Mejorar el servicio al cliente. ¡CCSUD trabaja para la gente, no al revés!
5. Fomentar la participación de más ciudadanos en las decisiones del CCSUD.
